Membership FAQ's
Do You Need To Be 100% Italian To Join?
No, we need to see that you have Italian heritage on at least one side of your family.
Do You Need To Have An Italian Last Name?
No, we have plenty of members whose Italian heritage comes from their mother’s side.
Do You Need To Live In North Beach To Join?
No, you can join regardless of where you live. Regular members who live more than 50 miles from the club can opt to be Associate Members.
How Can I Show My Italian Heritage To Join?
If you don’t have an Italian last name, usually you can show it on a birth certificate or baptismal certificate. The membership team can help advise on what you should do if that will not work for you.
Do You Need To Personally Know A Member Of The Club To Join?
The application requires you have a sponsor who is a Regular or Lifetime member. You will also need to have the names of two other club members to put on your application. The membership team can help you get this done.
I Let My Membership Expire, Can I Re-Join?
Yes, we always welcome back previous members that left in good standing. Please contact the Membership team to get your application back on track to re-join.

You do not need to be an athlete to join.
